Who I am

My name is Andrea Huntemann and was born on August 8th, 1968 in Wildeshausen. At the age of 21, after training as a medical assistant, I moved to the Black Forest near Freiburg.

First I worked for a pediatrician, then in an orthopedic practice. In 1994 I got married and my daughter Elena was born. My daughter Carla followed in 1997.

In 2009 I separated and divorced my husband.

At that time I worked for the Freiburg Bone Density Center and also in the Freiburg emergency practice since 1995. Since I was now alone with 2 children, I looked for a new job with more hours and a correspondingly higher salary. So I started at the Emmendingen dialysis center.

In 2010 a new partner came into my life and in 2011 we moved to Kollnau together with my children.

In 2015 I then moved to the “Praxis Kollnau”, a general practice with currently 4 practice owners, 3 training assistants and 19 medical assistants.

In 2018 I ended my relationship. My daughter Elena moved to Sydney in December of the same year and Carla moved to her boyfriend Matthias's farm in Leimental, about 15 minutes away from me, 10 months later. I live in Oberwinden, 1/2 hour from Freiburg. In my free time I go to the climbing hall twice a week, can immerse myself in good books or meet someone for a beer. I spend my vacations sailing, snowboarding or climbing.
