Did I mention yesterday that our new campsite is right on the beach?
It's truly wonderful!
We had a pretty cool night last night and really needed our blankets! It's crazy, during the day it's between 25 and 30 degrees here, and as soon as the sun sets (at 5:30pm) we immediately need a sweater!
But it is winter here after all!!! 🙄
Just today we were talking about how it has only rained once during our time here, and that was when Daniel was at the hairdresser - for 10 minutes!
We always go to bed quite early! Usually no later than 10pm and then I wake up between 5 and 6am - the kids between 7 and 8am - so we're often on the go early, which I personally love!!!
Today I wanted to take advantage of being by the sea and brought the table and chairs to the water for breakfast. We had scrambled eggs, cereal, and fruit - we rarely drink coffee, but occasionally drink tea! And when there is coffee, it's usually instant Nescafé, I somehow like it!
After breakfast, we explored the area! Noosa is a fancy place with lots of water - accordingly fancy are the houses! It's amazing how people live here....and quite expensive too! We studied the real estate prices and realized that it's not enough to immigrate here! A house to our liking costs 3,000,000 dollars - about 2,000,000 euros!
The town itself had nice shops and the main beach is very beautiful. We spent some time there, built sandcastles, relaxed, had races on the beach, and then went back to our fantastic camping kitchen right by the sea for a barbecue. We played a little game called 'Asshole' on our beach and then went back to the 'city.' We were hoping for a pub with live music and football, but unfortunately, they didn't have that here! It was more upscale and chic, but very beautiful with the whole street full of fairy lights. (Mika thought it was too romantic)
Then we went back to the campsite and now we're sitting in our camper, or as Daniel likes to call it, the 'Villa'!
Tomorrow we'll continue to our unfortunately last stop in Brisbane 😢! It was super nice here!
See you soon....and good night!!💤😴
