Miraflores

January 16, 2022 - Sunday evening. Hopefully tomorrow morning we'll go to Tarapoto in the jungle. Since the number of coronavirus cases is also rising here and Omicron is spreading, it's impossible to plan too far in advance. Trust and letting go are our practice fields right now. But it is still stressful.

Yesterday we took a beautiful walk by the sea. We drove to Malecón Balta and walked along the cliff coast and then back directly by the sea. There were many surfers to watch, occasionally also swimmers. The Pacific is quite cold and dangerous due to the currents. It's only 7.5 km away, but it takes some time by car, even if there is not much traffic on Saturdays.
