Arrival at Anantara The Palm Resort

After checking in at the hotel (2nd category hotel room without direct access to the lagoon by Dominik and Laura - already ready 😩), we changed into summer clothes and went for breakfast.

Let's just say - everything here is complaining on a very high level 😀

Then we made up for the missing night hours in the pool area.

For dinner, we decided on an Australian steakhouse. It was beautifully presented and delicious. And the highlight was a recommended 'Grüner Veltliner' at a bargain price of 50€. These are Dubai prices including The Palm surcharge!

Alcohol is generally expensive, but there is an extra charge on The Palm!

And to honor us, there was a fireworks display next to the Burj al Arab! This is how we like to be welcomed 😀
