After a 20-minute drive, we arrived at the southern tip of Krka National Park. We had to pay 70 euros to see Europe's most beautiful travertine waterfalls.
On winding paths and boardwalks, tourist crowds walked through the jungle-like nature to Skradinski Buk, where the Krka River plunges 46 meters into the 17 terraces. It's a shame that there were also a lot of people in and around the water at the foot of the waterfalls...
Nevertheless, we also enjoyed the cool refreshing fresh water and only arrived at Roski Slap, a smaller but much more idyllic waterfall in the northern part of the national park, in the late afternoon.
There is an old mill and an "antique washing machine" (thanks to the water vortex) as well as a restaurant where the tables were in the water - those crazy Croats 🤪...
