We docked in the morning, and I went ashore right after breakfast. A lady with a free-roaming Newfoundland was waiting on the pier, who warmly greeted me and allowed me to cuddle with him. For that, I was awarded a dog pin by his owner.

Then I first found the location from where my booked boat tour was supposed to start. Fortunately, it was just a few minutes' walk away.

After that, I explored the city. Finally, I went to see the dog sculptures: a Newfoundland and a Labrador. They were beautifully designed.

It was time for my two-hour boat ride, which was supposed to start at 11:30 AM. I met fellow travelers who had also booked this ride. We planned to look for whales, puffins, and icebergs. Unfortunately, we had no success, but the ride itself was exciting. On the one hand, we saw beautiful places near the harbor, and on the other hand, we were tested on our sea legs by the stormy weather. My sea legs were confirmed, but unfortunately, I caught a bad cold.

I returned to the ship. I skipped lunch because I had something grand planned. An announcement from the captain came: Due to strong winds, a safe departure was not possible, and we would stay overnight. This was unfortunate, as my plan meant I wouldn't be able to go ashore.

I had actually booked a 'Chef's Menu,' which I wanted to attend with six of my travel companions.
