Canberra - the first rainy day on my journey

Meanwhile, after a multi-day journey from Brisbane via Sydney by ship and train, I arrived in Canberra. One valuable hour of travel was stolen from me, despite being in the same time zone. The state of New South Wales, or rather the Australian Capital Territory, observes daylight saving time. As a result, it is no longer dark shortly after 6 pm like in Brisbane.

But what a change in weather. Today, I experienced the first rainy day in Australia. The night temperature is around 4 degrees and during the day it is 14 degrees. Until now, I have always looked forward to the well-cooled bus rides. And today, I took the bus to warm up. In addition, I visited the Old Parliament House, which offers an interesting exhibition about the political system of Australia. Afterwards, a visit to the current Parliament House was also a must. The architectural design with its spacious green areas is impressive.
