75. Zakynthos -> West Coast to Plakaki Beach

Day 75: Wow, what a fantastic day! After the last two fairly unspectacular days, today had lots of highlights in store for us. We could have filled several days with everything Zakynthos had to offer today. The west coast continues what we experienced on the west coast of Lefkada. White limestone cliffs above milky blue water - simply breathtaking!

Gerakas Beach (with the very nice and practical Sea Turtle Rescue Center with toilets and showers)

White Sandstone Mountains at the northern end of Gerakas Beach

Swimming at Kalamaki Beach - where we encounter mass tourism

Visit to a modern olive press, with a Swabian guide

Walk to various viewpoints on the Myzithres cliffs

Drive to the Plakaki Viewpoint and descent to the corresponding beach

Most beautiful sunset of the entire vacation at the Plakaki Beach parking lot

Overnight at the same spot - dream spot
