Everyday life on the farm and travel planning

The next few days I was actually fully occupied with my shower. I also had a better connection to Dan when we talked about the battle plan with the shower and the hot water supply. Here the motto applies: don't buy anything, work with what is available. So tons of wood, corrugated iron, a nail gun (my new favorite tool👍). There were also first results, see pictures. But I won't be able to finish it before I leave here, unfortunately. I'm only here for 2 weeks in total, and the 3rd week at Lisa's. It's amazing how well the everyday life is already running. If you can call it everyday life after just under 2 weeks. Today is Thursday, on Saturday morning we're already going to Kamloops and then back to Vancouver by bus! I'm already used to the 3 boys and the 4 dogs☺️. They're all really cute!

I started planning my trip a bit and finally booked my 5-day canoe trip on the Athabasca River👍; @silly: 5 out of 5 points?

Dan won't be here until Saturday, so I probably won't see him again. Well then. Looking forward to the next few days. If everything goes well, I can go whale watching on Vancouver Island this weekend. And of course visit Vancouver. I'm wondering if I should rent a car. Without one, you're really lost outside the city. We'll see.
