We don't complain, and when you're here, we also go hiking on cloudy days. Properly bundled up with thick jackets and hats, we start early in the morning at Johnson Lake. You can walk around it and we discover wild gooseberries or play baseball with pine cones. Children's motivation when the gummy bears run out. It works, and we have completed 3/4 of the lake and have a picnic at the legendary red chairs.
All of a sudden, the sun comes out and you can see why the chairs are here, the clouds disappear, and you discover a beautiful panorama.
At the end of the day, we even swim in the lake, which no one would have thought of in the morning. The best part of the trip was the nice Swiss-Canadian family that lent us their canoe, which we could paddle around the lake. We feel very Canadian and see the mountains from another great perspective. We didn't go swimming with the canoe, even though it occasionally wobbled due to the enthusiasm of the kids.
