The North Sea

Finally, a beach day was announced for us. We parked our camper van overnight in a parking lot near the town of Porsgrunn, packed our beach bag, and walked about five minutes to the sea. We came across a small bathing bay with a small sandy beach.

First, we had a nice picnic with homemade snacks on the grass. Bruno dug in the sand with his shovel and crawled to the water. Steffen took a nap and I was able to read a little bit. For nap time, Steffen walked with Bruno in the car and later we all jumped into the North Sea. The water wasn't as cold as we thought at first. Nevertheless, in the evening we treated ourselves to a warm shower. We were very very satisfied with this day.
