10.8. Randers Memphis Mansion

We don't know what got into him, but Felix got up on his own around 5 am today to watch the sunrise directly over the fjord. When the rest of us got up, the breakfast table was already set! Apparently, the North Sea air affects at least one-third of our children...

Today is a really nice, sunny day... you can tell we're no longer on the West Coast. We spend the morning at the campsite and reluctantly leave around noon - it is really beautiful here...

Our next stop is the 'Memphis Mansion' in Randers - a kind of Elvis Presley shrine in Graceland form. Granted, the property looks very nice - we can hear 'Love me Tender' and 'Heartbreak Hotel' throughout the entire grounds. The exhibition is nice with some pretty exhibits. There is also a small section dedicated to Johnny Cash.

Since we still have time, we go to the shopping center next door. Felix buys a football jersey - then we realize that we bought almost the same jersey in the same store 6 years ago.

We continue towards Aarhus and find a very nice, small spot right by the sea. Felix even jumps in. We unpack our grill for the first time and watch the rising moon directly over the Baltic Sea...
