Stage 36 Santiago de Compostela to Negreira

Breakfast at the hostel, Cortado at the café and off we go!

The mood is still a bit uncertain... is this a new path, or does my Camino continue? It doesn't matter, with every step my good mood rises.

The conditions are good, a little drizzle at the beginning, but only briefly, then it's dry and the sun occasionally shines through. The route is very beautiful, not as wide anymore, and my fellow pilgrims are with me again. There's a small dog that doesn't like me and barks, a big one that doesn't like me either but is behind a fence, a bird on the power line, and last but not least, a snail - everything fits.

There are some eye-catchers along the way, especially 'Ponte Maceira'.

Today I will stay in a completely different accommodation, a mixture of 'Ponderosa' and 'Lichter's Oldies', extremely rustic with some animals. There's something for everyone (especially for Kathi).

It's about 1 km outside of Negreira, which I initially regret. After the afternoon walk to the supermarket in town, I'm happy to be back on my ranch. I'm sitting on the balcony in front of the bedroom in the sun... it feels good.

Today is a day of rest because tomorrow there's a longer stage with some uphill sections.
