USA 🇺🇸Florida 2021 Day 1

After postponing our Florida trip multiple times, we are finally leaving tomorrow.

We have a negative corona test, are fully vaccinated, and hope that everything works out in terms of entry. We were pretty nervous during the 15-minute wait and wondered what we would do if one of us had a positive result. At least we were standing in a Lidl parking lot, so we could have done a big shopping trip. 😂😂 It's annoying when you don't really know until the last day whether you should pack or if you can start, since the test can only be done shortly before. The anticipation is somewhat limited because of that. But ultimately, everything has worked out now.

This time we are flying directly from Frankfurt to Miami without any detours.

Alarm clock at 4:00 a.m., taxi at 5:00 a.m., ICE at 6:00 a.m., Frankfurt Airport at 7:00 a.m.

We took an earlier train because we didn't know how crowded the airport is. I, blond, told the train conductor some nonsense about why we are in the wrong train 😂. It wasn't a problem anyway, the train was empty.

In Frankfurt, we quickly went through the check-in, but it looks completely different for other flights, with lines through the entire hall. I can't imagine how they are all supposed to be at the plane on time. But not our problem. We are sitting in the LH Lounge and toasting to our vacation.

8:00 a.m. in the morning, this will be fun 🥂🍾🥂🥂🍾
