Goodbye Denmark, hello Sweden!
Today was a little escape from the rain, as the weather maps indicated that a wet Danish land was expected in the next few days, and good, dry weather was waiting for the Ungustl just after the border.
And that's exactly how it was:
First, the fetid BOSAMO was sprinkled with some refreshing moisture, and then there was comfortable warm (not hot!) sunshine all day long.
So it was time to go under the sea and then up on the bridge and off towards Sweden!
Warned by yesterday's windspiel, the Gaijin was already gripping the handlebars tightly today and approached the crossing rather cautiously and carefully. But to his surprise, the crossing turned out to be far less dreadful than expected, as the Blasius never changed sides and was also much weaker than yesterday.
So to say, all the worrying was for free!
Today, my traveler wanted to visit a Thingplatz first, and if the esteemed readership is now wondering why the unworthy traveler stops there for a few standing stones, the grumpy writer once again refers to his interest in history.
He simply finds such places fascinating, the ignorant Ungustl!
There was no parking space near these stones, but there was a slightly raised, marked spot in front of a bike/pedestrian path, which was good enough for Berta.
Towards the Thing, then back again, and there were two young Swedes next to the noble steed, inspecting the license plate.
'Don't tell me that this is a bus station...' said the ignorant one.
They confirmed it with a grin.
'Damn stupid, fucking tourists...' the Gaijin replied.
So it turns out I had parked Berta right in front of a marked bus entrance...
They asked where I came from, there was a brief chat, and then I quickly decided to gain some meters, because I have no idea how much it would cost if I had to take a bus ride with Berta.
Other than that, the Gaijin is quite happy that the landscape is finally showing some more variation than it has in the past few days, so tomorrow he will visit the countryside, away from the coast and simply explore.
Maybe a moose will appear before the tainted eyes of the Ungustiös, then the traveling One will not know whether to wet his pants, take a picture, or make a roast out of the little animal...
It's always the same with the strongly smelling lad:
No planning, just see what happens!
P.S.: Are you planning to find my mistakes? You'll be surprised by what awaits you!
