Day 17 TELGRUC SUR MER 22.08.2022

Today we're writing our report in a small typical French bar in Telgruc. Our little very private accommodation actually has no internet! We spend the night above a hypnosis and yoga studio!? Karin immediately felt guilty because yoga didn't take place in the last few days!?

From Brest, we didn't start until 10:40 am today because we had to check out at 11 am, our way today wasn't far, and we were supposed to check in at the next accommodation at 6 pm. Still, there was an episode of CROWNS. We drove towards the headland, which can best be described by the place called Corzon, over a huge bridge. On the way to the accommodation, we were too early in the area, so we visited Corzon and the neighboring town of Morgat. Here we took a boat tour to the famous caves of Morgat (Grotte des Normands) and were able to shorten our waiting time until check-in. At the harbor, in the parking lot, we passed the time until departure and continued listening to our radio play ("Richter morden besser") in the car and discovered the laundromat in the parking lot! Crazy!

It was drizzling, but the fog cleared, at least for the time on the boat. 😋

The tourist offices of Corzon and Telgruc helped with the hiking plans! Because tomorrow we will put on our hiking shoes, no matter what the weather is like.

We couldn't find the booked accommodation right away because it was a normal residential building. We have our very simple room on the upper floor and also probably no breakfast options! But it doesn't matter because there is a 'Super U' supermarket, a bakery/pastry shop, and a bar nearby where we are sitting right now. No tourists like during the day, only locals with their everyday habits! Very nice!
