Dear Friends,

I was right, absolutely.

After it was raining a bit this morning (Info from Dad: It was pouring all night long), Dad naturally doubted me completely and took an umbrella and raincoat with him, just to say: 'This will be our most important equipment today'. But so wrong and I fell for it too, oh well. So, we carried around an umbrella and jackets all day for no reason, but regardless, it was a great success and a lot of fun.

It all started with a relaxed tram ride into the heart of the city, so we could visit the big cathedral from the inside today, and it looked impressive not only from the outside, but was also a work of art inside. The size of the hall was simply breathtaking, but the huge windows told stories from the Bible and just the fact alone made it impossible for me to look away, really beautiful.

Our next stop in sunny Milan was the botanical garden. To get to the small oasis, we had to walk through the fancy districts of the city, and I don't mean just normal fancy, but really posh. With my yellow raincoat, I was completely out of place there, but we didn't break into any of the banks and found the entrance to the garden. Beautiful, there is no other way to describe it, simply incredible and only a fragment of the possible is blooming. The smell was also beautifully balanced and useful plants were growing next to exotic prickly Japanese lotus trees, simply amazing.

Afterwards, we relaxed for a moment in a nearby park, only to set off again immediately, because our plan still included the 'technical museum - Leonardo Da Vinci'. So, we walked all the way across the city to see constructions invented by a guy five hundred years ago, really exciting. No, really, it was really cool. Very interactive and even later on about space travel and environmental protection, I really liked it and the pictures of deserts were impressive.

Now we had to somehow get return tickets so that we didn't have to walk the entire way back. After a pizza and one last time at the cathedral in the sunshine, we were ready, the last little walk through Milan and then back to the farm.

To sum it up for me: Milan is worth a visit, but that's it.

See you soon and remember, I'm always right, never forget that. 😊
