Bangkok, Thailand's interesting capital city
Bangkok was our last big city before driving back to Singapore.
We arrived at the Laem Chabang port around 7 o'clock. Not nice there. There was a car depot nearby.
We booked a private tour of Bangkok with 4 couples. The drive to the city center took almost 2 hours and cost 110 EUR per person. That sounded expensive, but this price includes tolls, entrance fees, and a small lunch.
We were dropped off at the Chao Phraya River and met our tour guide there. We then walked to a flower market, which was naturally run by the Chinese. Here, the tour guide bought us a small bowl of mango and sweet rice each. It was unusual, but it tasted good.
You should avoid going to the toilet here.
Small and large shrines were set up everywhere in the stalls.
