Montenegro ... Day 1 ... the journey

Good morning, as we say here in the North ...

In the truest sense of the word, it is really early. After we packed our suitcases yesterday, the alarm clock rings at 03:45 this morning. Actually, that's not our time, but the anticipation of discovering a country unknown to us quickly gets your circulation going.

Dressed quickly, packed everything and off to the subway towards HH-Hbf where the ICE train to Berlin BER is waiting. Something new again, we have never been to the BER before.

After a short stopover, we continue to the BER ✈️, which welcomes us with hustle and bustle.

Once again something new, self-service at check-in 🙄 from weighing the suitcase to scanning it for transport. It remains exciting ☺️

We arrive in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. We will experience around 28 degrees with a slight breeze. From Germany, we have already booked a rental car so that we can start our Montenegro adventure.
