After my time at Giant's Causeway and Bushmills, I took the train to Derry/Londonderry (a historically significant city due to the Northern Ireland conflict) and made a stop there - and finally visited an Irish pub with stout, cider, and live music (about time).
After just one night, I continued directly by bus from Derry to Galway in the west of Ireland. It was a five and a half hour journey, so there was plenty of time to sleep after visiting the pub.
The next day, I took an organized bus tour from Galway to the Cliffs of Moher, with a few smaller detours along the way. The most famous cliffs in Ireland are also one of the most popular tourist destinations. Despite the crowds, the cliffs, which drop up to 214 meters vertically, are worth a visit and offer an inspiring view. Some caution was necessary, as there is a strong wind at the top of the cliffs, which pushes you towards the edge and can easily throw you off balance.
