At night it cools down very well, so we always sleep well.

This morning it is still very windy, the wind is supposed to decrease around noon.

Today we are going towards The Fleet.

After one kilometer, I have no air left in the tire (probably let out by the Dutchman because he got our parking space😉)

A very friendly lady at the tourist office helps us with an air pump.

The village with its small harbor is located on the north coast of the Île de Ré. The coastal area is steep, but has a narrow artificial beach that is replenished with new sand every year.

This place is also so pretty with its white houses and window shutters painted in pastel colors.

Today is also market day here.

There is also an ice cream parlor here where we buy the most expensive ice cream so far.

We will return via Saint Martin de Re, where we will buy 2 camping chairs that we will pick up on Friday (one of our camping chairs has already collapsed 🙄)

and then continue along the coast and through the salt marshes.
