Today it is just a leisurely 27 km.
The weather is being good to me. No wonder. I finished my breakfast down to the last crumb. Unfortunately, however, I am the only guest in this beautiful ambiance, apart from a sporty man who just said goodbye to me and is on his way to Copenhagen by bike.
I would love to call after him, “may I invite you for a coffee?”, but I am not quite there yet.
I also notice that I have only encountered single, sporty, handsome men... (I could list countless adjectives) so far.
But they all have one thing in common: they are going in the wrong direction. 😩
No one is going in the same direction, let alone passing me. Well, maybe I can manage to get them turned around during my tour. 😂
Sometimes one wonders: “What does life still have in store for me?”
The project “family - father, mother, child” failed in 2015.
Yoga training, children's yoga training, training as a sound massage therapist have already been a great experience that definitely provides support in life or simply allows one to try totally crazy things. One becomes more open, tolerant, sociable, and courageous. Or is it just related to age? Disregarding old conventions, for instance? 😚
I will find out, whether on this trip or my next or the one after. As long as it is fun and my bike supports me or I can pedal.
Unfortunately, the Stork Court Blumenow lacks a personal touch and... a cook. Therefore, there is no possibility to have dinner here in the evening.
However, 3 km from here is the Boltenhof estate. An ecologically managed farm. I arrive just in time as the geese are driven into the barn, much to the delight of all the children. What a spectacle.
While ordering a really delicious bruschetta and a rosé, I meet Louisa from Brazil. She is traveling through various places in Germany and experimenting. After 3 months at Boltenhof estate, she is heading to Leipzig, having previously been in Hamburg. Simply wonderful. What would I give to be 20 again. 😩
Catja from Potsdam is sitting at my table and is, as she herself says, the oldest mother and simultaneously grandmother. A sad fate indeed, but I believe that 5-year-old Noah is doing very well with her. She works as a special education teacher and we immediately find common ground, as my mother was also temporarily active in this profession. In general, the education of our children in Germany moves many people in our country, at least that’s what I've noticed so far.
The sun is slowly setting and we say goodbye. Perhaps we might meet again in Potsdam.
