The Temple of Hephaestus located in the Agora area of Athens is one of the best-preserved Greek temples. It was constructed in the 5th century BC and all the columns still exist. The preservation of the temple is due to its transformation into a Christian church in late antiquity, which prevented significant destruction of the temple complex. Interestingly, a smaller replica of the temple can be found in the Volksgarten in Vienna.
