Today we are allowed to pick up the camper and we are very excited. We go for a hearty breakfast and try to do our laundry in the hostel, but we had problems starting the program. Somehow it worked out, or so we thought. When she was supposed to be finished, our clothes were in the dryer, unwashed. Dear. We got the token back at reception and tried again, and luckily it worked. Unfortunately we didn't like the hostel at all. The staff was super unfriendly, it was impersonal, way too big and really not nice. The unfriendliness in particular bothered us a lot because we were very impressed by the friendliness of the people straight from the airport. Everyone greets each other warmly, gives each other a smile and when you get off the bus, you shout “Thank you” to the bus driver and wave goodbye. We are definitely very happy to be able to pick up our bus now and are looking forward to nature. The camper is ready and we “just” have to pay. My cell phone doesn't make it easy for me and so we sit there for almost an hour and I was on the verge of freaking out. But luckily everything worked out, but it was more complicated than expected. We finally set off and go straight to the next shop and measure out all the things in the bus in the parking lot. We buy boxes, dishes, a few groceries, wine and whatever else you might need. And then we let ourselves be inspired by our first impressions of nature and are very happy that we can finally get started. With the nature reserve, we chose a really nice place to start and stay here for two nights. We go shopping again and again, tidy up, rearrange and take a wonderful walk. We start the days at a slower pace, with yoga, swimming in the sea, drinking a lot of coffee and having breakfast. The second morning we even jog through the mountains here. UPHILL! Crazy, yes, I know. I was a lot slower than Maren, but it still actually felt really good.
