Today I had my favorite swimming pool all to myself for a longer period of time.

Then I listened to the third lecture of 'Travel With Meaning'.

During lunch, a huge heart-shaped cake unmistakably indicated that today was Valentine's Day.

At noon, I watched the amusing and lovable movie 'The Proposal' with Sandra Bullock at the cinema, which filled me with the best mood for the rest of the day.

In the evening, the four gentlemen of the a cappella group 'Alleycats' performed. I think the oldest of the gentlemen bears a certain resemblance to the Minister President of Baden-Württemberg, Winfried Kretschmann.

For dinner, I had made an appointment this time and enjoyed a particularly appealing menu with four ladies, all of us formally dressed. I chose tartare and lobster. A nice way to end the day.

Nevertheless, I have not forgotten the special meaning of Valentine's Day for our family. 35 years ago, our father passed away on Valentine's Day.
