Cloudy, occasional sun, rain in the evening
Today is a car-free day, we are taking a round tour with the bikes, starting with the old part of the Vik town with beautiful wooden houses, museum, herb garden, and church.
In the Berg town, we will do some shopping and then continue along the coast, with a lunch break at a rest area by the water.
A hiking trail through a forest and up a hill brings us to a geological landmark, a prehistoric beach with rounded stones at a height of 50 m. After the ice age, the land masses rose, so the coastline is now significantly lower.
Before enjoying delicious Gerd-style pizza, we will treat ourselves to a steep ascent to the rock hill behind our cabin, with a fantastic view all around.
