Waterwalking

This morning it didn't rain. I briefly considered going to a neighboring village, but then decided on the city walk option. It turned out to be a good choice, as it would show 😉 ...

After about 30 minutes of leisurely walking, it started raining again. First just a few drops, and then it poured down like buckets. At times even more intense than yesterday. At the beach, which I had all to myself ... kind of like a private beach ... you couldn't distinguish between the sky and the sea. While trying to take proof photos of the apocalypse, the phone confidently activated the automatic flash. Kind of cute, but of course unsuccessful 🤓.

Overall, I walked or waded about 8 km through the monsoon (... it wasn't really a monsoon, but it felt like one!!! ...). The water sometimes reached up to my ... well ... above my knee. My feet are as clean as never before. So there's a silver lining to everything. Especially since it's still around 25 degrees Celsius. Spending the rest of the day with food and Netflix seems like a good idea.

P.S.: I wouldn't really recommend Da Nang, even if it didn't rain. Just in case someone happens to be in the area 🤪.

However, it's interesting that almost all Vietnamese people I asked about the best place in Vietnam mentioned Da Nang.
