Whitsundays

As mentioned before, we chose the 3-day Whitsundays Trip Ride to Paradise because we didn't have to stay on the boat. On the first day, we were taken to the resort by speedboat, where we were shown everything (main house with billiards and ping pong table, pool, tennis court and kayaks & stand up boards) before they took us to the rooms. Even though we only booked two beds in a shared room, we were taken to a private room. We already had a huge smile on our faces. 'There are still two single beds in there, but they will organize a double bed for us.' 10 minutes later, another guide came and told us that two siblings have a double bed and we could switch with them. When we were on our way to the new accommodation, we were already afraid that we would be downgraded again. But we were surprised when we were taken to the Rainforest Retreat. A luxury bungalow with a private beach and an outdoor bathroom in the rainforest. We were amazed. :)

On the next day, we got up early again. Of course, we would have liked to enjoy our private beach a little longer, but that's not why we were there. We went to the famous Whitehaven Beach and snorkeling at two different spots. Both were breathtaking, but it would have been even more impressive with blue skies. Well, we can't change it.

On the following day, we already went back to our simple camper life around noon. Back on the road towards Cairns.
