'Education for Maria Montessori means giving help for life. The statement of a child 'Help me to do it myself' accurately describes the two components of education as Montessori understands it: adults create the conditions that the child needs to advance its growth and educational process through its own strength.'
The project 'kinderwelt-international' emerged from the idea of creating pedagogical exchange with a focus on intercultural education. Finally, we have managed to work together again and develop new ideas based on Montessori education during a project week. The result will be a small concept with realistically achievable possibilities to meet the needs of a large group of children (ages 3-7, 45-50).
For this, I have invested a part of your donations and bought equipment for coziness and above all for implementation. Together, we sorted the material cabinet, where treasures from 4 years ago were slumbering and can finally be used.
Movement is crucial for children's development. Since running alone is one-sided and not everyone's cup of tea, besides footballs, a slide and a climbing frame will be made from your donations. I have also refreshed the swing. Now it just needs a little time to implement the new ideas. But above all, support from volunteers. Here, too, I will use donation funds and enable Diak to become an internship location. Specifically, this means that at least the travel expenses for the volunteers can be reimbursed.
We will also cover structural costs. For example, the annual registration fee that Diak pays from its mini salary.
And we will pay for another child to visit Diak with the donations. She is causing unnecessary trouble and receiving unnecessary beatings and punishments at home due to boredom and excessive energy. We will help her by providing mental nourishment and appropriate engagement with peers.
