Upon arriving in Trogir, we are greeted with seemingly chaotic traffic. The GPS gives up: 'You have reached the end of the drivable route.'
No wonder, because the old town is located on a small island connected by only one bridge. So we get off, take our bags and find the hotel on foot. Countless small, winding alleys from the time when the island was first built. Left, right, left, right... bustling activity everywhere. Thanks to Google on our phone, we are welcomed in the middle of the old town of Trogir by Villa Kaleta.
After checking in, we immediately go back out and join in the hustle and bustle. There seems to be no cobblestone that doesn't invite you to refresh or strengthen yourself with a table or chair.
And so in the evening, we treat ourselves to a fantastic dinner at one of the 2 restaurants in Trogir with a charcoal grill (according to the waitress....). Unfortunately, it had to be photographed ;-)
