Our new home😊

Well, it has been very quiet here for the past few days. Well, there wasn't much to report because I was waiting in vain for my money from Germany... The reason it took so long was because something went wrong with the transfer. The lady at the counter forgot to enter something, so the transfer was returned. I then decided to do an online transfer, and the money arrived two days later. As if I wasn't annoyed enough, an additional 50€ was deducted from me, which I won't get back! My parents went to the bank and at first they said: oh no, that's way too much, it can't be right, something will definitely be returned. A day later, they actually called my parents and told them that I would not be reimbursed because it was MY mistake😂 I had provided incorrect information. I really don't know anymore whether to laugh or be mad about it!!! I mean, can't you expect a trained bank clerk to fill out an international transfer form?! Especially since I sent everything in detail to my parents. I'm really shocked! I sent a complaint email to the main headquarters, hoping to achieve something...

Well, now to the nice part:

We finally have the car and therefore our new home for the next few months!😊 We spent the last few days camping at the campsite with the couple from whom we bought the car, and we passed the time with them at the pool, in the shopping center, or playing cards. Today was finally the day when they emptied the car and we filled it up! Finally having a fixed 'residence' with a 'closet' feels amazing. No more carrying a heavy backpack from A to B or relying on buses and trains. On top of that, we got a job offer today, which starts on Friday.➡️ Picking blueberries 🍇 Both of the people we're still with here have already done this job and they said picking blueberries is one of the most relaxing jobs. Well, I'm curious 🙈 Tomorrow evening we will be told what time to be there. It depends on the weather, the hotter it is supposed to get, the earlier we start. And it's supposed to be a whopping 42 degrees on Friday 😁 Regardless, I'm looking forward to this experience and making money for our further travels. Tonight is the first night in the roof top tent, let's see how it sleeps.

Greetings from down under
