13|11|18, In the Land of the Hobbits

Hello everyone,

today was the day!

We went to "Hobbiton", in the land of the Hobbits!

We booked the first tour of the day, which included a guided tour and breakfast in a real Hobbit house.

When we arrived in Hobbiton, we were greeted by our tour guide and then driven from the parking lot to the "Hobbiton Movie Set".

On the way, the woman told us a lot about the creation of the set, which was really very interesting.

Then it was finally time. The bus stopped, we got out and went into paradise.

For true fans of "The Lord of the Rings" and "The Hobbit" movies, the first sights were already magical.

But for now, it remained at these sights, because we were first led into a Hobbit house, where a breakfast buffet was waiting for us.

It was literally "like in the movies"!

We ate at a table in a Hobbit house and had breakfast! It was simply brilliant!

After we finished eating, the guided tour started. The tour lasted about 2 hours and I felt like I was in a dream.

This world of the Hobbits was just so incredibly faithfully built and every detail was taken into account.

With a constant grin, like a Cheshire cat, we looked at everything!

I just felt like I was in a magical world, all that was missing was Bilbo Baggins coming out of his door and going on another adventure with Gandalf.

It was an amazing experience that I will never forget!

When we were back at the car, we soon drove to the campsite at "McLaren Falls".

Waterfalls located in a beautiful park where you can camp.

We spent the day swimming and sunbathing, and waited for darkness!

This was important for a very special hike!

Glowworms lit up our path while hiking in the darkness.

It was really a natural spectacle that I enjoyed incredibly!
