It is time to leave the Litchfield National Park and head out to the Mary River Wetlands near the Kakadu National Park. On our way to the Corroboree Park Tavern we stopped at the Couzens Lookout and a Rockhole nearby to catch a glimpse of the Corroboree Billabong in the Mary River Wetlands. Of course, Stuart decided we always keep a safe distance to the water edge, so we do not end up as croc food...
For the evening we decided to do the Wetland cruises sunset boat tour on the Corroboree Billabong. Driving in a croc-safe boat for about 2 hours over the wetlands with an experienced guide, spotting salties, freshis and all sort of birds from far and giving lots of information til the sun set over the Billabong.
