Potsdam and Wannsee

My Couchsurfing guest Angela takes some time for breakfast with me while she works from home. Today, I want to have lunch with my great aunt Gabi and meet Silke at Wannsee in the afternoon, and before that, ride my bike through Potsdam - the bike ride to Potsdam proves to be too much. A bike breakdown makes the bike tour impossible for me, but luckily there is a bike workshop just 200 meters away, and the nice man can change the tube for me right away. So I have to postpone the lunch meeting with Gabi to the next day, which works out well for both of us.

After treating myself to 2 scoops of ice cream as comfort food and having a cappuccino in the beautiful Dutch Quarter, I start my journey to Wannsee, where I pick up Silke from the S-Bahn station. It's fantastic that we can meet :) We find a slightly overcrowded bathing spot and enjoy the afternoon.

Later, we have dinner in a beer garden, and in the evening, my intended parking spot also has a space available for me. From here, it's only an 8-minute bike ride to the café where I will meet Gabi for lunch the next day.
