Arrival day

With a bit of concern that we could be affected by airport strikes, but we got both flights as planned. Relaxed and watched 2 movies on the long-haul flight while enjoying a beer 😅 Can do that more often.

Suitcases? Unfortunately, both not here... 😔 But they should arrive in Nairobi with a delay of 2 days. Luckily, we had everything we needed in our carry-on luggage... The mood is still good 😊

At Nairobi airport, we were picked up - with a little searching 🤣 We had to wait so long because of our missing luggage that the driver was almost leaving. Luckily, we have a ride 😅 Left-hand traffic, almost no road markings, and an aggressive driving style everywhere despite poor road conditions🙈

Now we are going to the Wildebeest Eco Camp for one night. The weather is typical north German -> rain ☔ but at least 22 degrees.

The camp looks very nice at night. We are curious how it looks tomorrow morning in daylight 😉 We enjoy another 'arrival drink' and then look forward to a good night's sleep. Tomorrow we continue to the Rhino Watch Lodge.
