Holland September 2018 - Zee Aquarium in Bergen

The weather today was unfortunately rather changeable, very windy and stormy. So we went to the Zee Aquarium in Bergen. Although we had already read in the reviews that the aquarium is very small, we had hoped for a bit more considering the quite expensive entrance fee of 14 euros per person.

First, you enter a small area with different terrariums, then you walk through a short corridor with aquariums that leads to a tank with rays that you can even touch. Then there is another, slightly longer hallway with aquariums, and then there is only the small outdoor area with a seal tank. All in all, that's about it. If you take your time, you can spend maybe 30 minutes here. Anyway, we went through it very quickly and then we did a second round because we didn't want to leave so soon.

However, the visit didn't really take much time. It would have been nice to take a walk on the beach, as the aquarium is located right there. But the wind was so strong that we were completely sandblasted when we crossed the dunes and then decided to turn back.

Then we decided to go to Alkmaar.
