The North Island.... Day 1

Our trip for today, tonight we want to be at hot water beach, there are places on the beach where hot water comes to the surface only at low tide, and you can enjoy a hot bath in small sand pits that you dig yourself. Let's see......

what you encounter on the way there.......

.........flying, not crying pigs...... just for you..........

......and because low tide is only at night, we have to go for a little hike first. Cathedral Cove. It was beautiful......

Then back to our luxury accommodation with our Super Mazda, small but everything fits in.

Now we have to wait for low tide to come so we can dig ourselves in.......

........and what awaits us is a little beach party........

.....and on the way back, thanks to Dana, there were lots of fireflies at night and two possums fleeing to a small tree.......
