5 rooms, humpback whales and scooters

When we arrived on Moorea (Mo'o'rea) we drove for about an hour until we arrived at our hotel. The hotel has only 5 rooms (which look like houses) and it is very, very small. We had two floors: downstairs a bathroom and a small living room, and upstairs another bathroom and two bedrooms. Everything was decorated in an African-Polynesian style. On the first day we didn't do anything and on the second day we went out to sea on a boat. We waited there and looked out for humpback whales.
Then we spotted them: a mother with her calf and two males. We watched them play and jump out of the water😊.
We were already on our way back when we saw three more whales. They were very calm so we were allowed to snorkel with them. It was exciting!
We also relaxed a lot and worked for school.
Once we signed up for a quad tour and drove into the mountains of Moorea. And another time we rented two scooters and drove around the island. When we were driving from a really good pizzeria to the hotel the next day, my mother's scooter and mine suddenly ran out of fuel☹. So my father drove to a gas station and brought back fuel in an empty plastic bottle. I got to drive twice myself (unfortunately only for a short distance). My mother was even brave enough to sit behind me😉. It was great on Moorea! But I was also looking forward to the catamaran we are on now...
