The first days..

..were quite relaxed! I could sleep in every morning and had the whole day free, apart from lunch and dinner, no obligations.

So I had the time to explore the whole area at my leisure and let the new environment sink in. I wrote a lot of flashcards which I learned while walking around, so I quickly picked up the first most important words.

Firstly, I looked at the grounds which are really huge and beautifully landscaped. There is a huge football pitch in the middle of all the little houses.

I came here from our summer to the end of winter in Argentina. However, the temperatures were relatively pleasant. It was fresh, estimated about 7-8 degrees. The only downside is that the grounds are quite remote and there are not many trees that could provide wind protection, so it was quite windy, which was rather unpleasant at the temperatures. However, spring has already announced itself in the first week.

When we (all Germans) had the first opportunity, we visited the nearby village. There is a small supermarket, but apart from a pretty professionally parked car, there was nothing exciting to see.

That's why we soon made our way back.

On the way back, we made a little stop and enjoyed our cool beer..

..while we were able to admire an incredible natural spectacle!

There will be more of these natural spectacles soon..
