Day 43 and 44 Isabela- San Cristobal

ተሓቲሙ: 03.02.2023

Yesterday was a typical lazy day. Walking on the beach, swimming in the lagoon, drinking delicious fruit juices, and eventually getting tired from the sun. Sometimes we're grateful when it's cloudy because the sun is relentless here.

Today, we woke up at 4:00 a.m. and groggily walked to the port. The advantage was that there was no sunshine yet. 😏 We traveled for 2 hours to Santa Cruz, where we had a break until 2:00 p.m. Then, at 3:00 p.m., we continued for another 2 hours to San Cristobal. In Santa Cruz, we stored our big backpacks at the ticket office. Then, we finally had the long-awaited power bowl with acai puree. After that, we walked to the Charles Darwin Museum again because we wanted to get the Galapagos stamp in our passports.

Once again, the sun was relentless. It was nice to relax on the beach under a tree. A gentle breeze provided pleasant cooling.

In San Cristobal, we're staying at the Suiza Hostel again, which we liked. We were once again greeted by the many sea lions at the port. We'll spend 2 more days here, and then we're headed to our final destination: Lima. By this time next week, I might already be on the plane, and Farina is already excited about Brazil.
