Do you want to fika?

No, there is nothing inappropriate behind this question! The Swedes use it to invite someone to have coffee or take a break. And it's not just about 'coffee to go', but rather a way of life: feeling comfortable, finding peace, and enjoying it all with the right (conversation) partner by your side.

And exactly this 'fika' is what we experience here from morning till evening: doing nothing, visiting the beach, indulging in kanelbullar, watching Pippi Longstocking, listening to the waves.....in short, we enjoy every minute and try to push away the thought that this wonderful journey will soon come to an end. Additionally, my aunt Ulla from Markaryd/Southern Sweden is visiting, and we are very happy about that.

Ulla, Rudolf, and Ettje have started their journey back home this afternoon - Thank you for accompanying and supporting us!!! Have a safe trip back!
