Whanganui Beach

We had left Himatangi Beach after a hearty breakfast in rainy weather only to arrive in Whanganui in the sunshine.

However, the weather in New Zealand is not consistent, so the sun and rain regularly change. There were some surfers in the water at the beach, braving the 10°C, enjoying the waves. Unfortunately, they were all around my age, so no Adonises. 😂😂

An obligatory visit to the city was on the agenda, and in the evening we met an Austrian family, so Leo could play with someone his own age.
