Continuing towards Bardenas Reales, a semi-desert that we really want to visit. We stop in Arguedas, known for its cave dwellings. We park the bus right in front of the caves. This is also where we sleep, along with some other campers.
The cave dwellings were inhabited until the 60s, and there are apparently still some inhabited caves in neighboring villages. The pleasant temperature of 18 degrees remains the same in summer and winter. The windows and doors are missing, and you can walk through the old dwellings. Some are still well-preserved, others are already somewhat decayed.
