Great Barrier Reef

ที่ตีพิมพ์: 27.01.2018

After diving in Thailand and Indonesia, we finally got to explore the world-famous Great Barrier Reef.

Anyone who has seen the underwater world knows what we are about to write: the colors, the diversity of species, and the size of the reef are absolutely remarkable!

In total, we did six dives, including a night dive with a flashlight. It was a whole new experience to see nothing except the point you were illuminating.

If the sun had shone even more during the day, it would have been even more impressive. We were very lucky to have seen some amazing animals, as it is not always guaranteed!

- a small reef shark, but still very impressive

- a stingray with a diameter of 2m, it buried itself in the sand and hid. But then it suddenly got up and swam towards Dominik :O our hearts started racing again. But it was just curious and wanted to know who we were, then it moved on and quickly disappeared.

- many anemonefish, better known as Nemo

- several parrotfish

- an eel :O (really creepy)

- many small jellyfish

- a highly poisonous jellyfish

- a squid that even sprayed ink to defend itself

- a triggerfish, with enormous teeth and not the most peaceful of fish

- deep blue starfish, beautiful

- shells with a diameter of 1m

- incredibly large species of coral and reef walls that are up to 30m high

- sea cucumbers with a diameter of 50cm

and many many more ... We just love to scuba dive!

Unfortunately, the underwater shots did not turn out so well, so we only have a few snapshots :)
