Finally Cairns

We have finally reached our last destination in Australia. Thousands of kilometers, many places, numerous experiences, and priceless memories make our hearts beat faster. Australia is a beautiful country and has definitely impressed us.

In 29 days, it rained only 2 days, otherwise the sun always shone for us. In Cairns, the rain accompanied us for two days. The first time we did something indoors.

We visited the Cairns Aquarium. Here we had the opportunity to learn more about the Great Barrier Reef and its residents. It was very informative and of course very interesting for us after diving.

In summary, it can be said that thankfully there were no major incidents. Despite driving so many kilometers, we were lucky to never have a kangaroo, wallaby, wombat or similar run in front of our car. We saw hundreds of dead ones lying by the roadside. :(

Our Pauli always brought us safely and without any problems everywhere, and we are incredibly grateful that everything went so well here too.

We were incredibly lucky with the weather, but it's summer here :)!

We are a little bit nostalgic about having to leave Australia so soon, we could definitely stay longer ;) but we are already looking forward to the next country that awaits us.

Let's go to New Zealand!

P.s .: We have already sent a 7kg package with souvenirs, our diving equipment, the travel guide, and other things that we no longer need from now on! :)
