Tenerife 🗻

After 9 days on La Gomera we are now on Tenerife.

It feels a bit like coming from Bokholt-Hanredder to Hamburg.

From the airport we drive in a rental car (a Fiat 500 :-) with a sunroof, Hauke drives! ) to our accommodation. On the expressway you could and could drive at 120km/h. (On La Gomera we were happy when we could shift up to third gear...)

However, our apartment is beautifully located away from the hustle and bustle at 500m above sea level, a casa rural. But also away from the supermarket, café and sea.

That's exactly how we wanted it, in the only part of this island that does NOT score points in the brochure due to its connection to the motorway.

After our trip to the south coast yesterday, returning felt like we were going to another movie - or 40 years back.

There's still a lot to see here...
