We reached the small, but charming Coral Bay around noon. We stayed there for two nights and immediately started exploring. We decided to take a sunset cruise with six other couples that evening. With a New Zealand skipper, we sailed on a catamaran along the coast and the outer reef, towards the sunset. We enjoyed the leisurely ride, nice conversations, an antipasti platter, our sunset drink (Bundaberg Cola), the wind in our hair, and the sun on our faces! The next day started with the usual things: breakfast and laundry. We also had to take care of our vehicle for the time in Tasmania. Then we walked along the beach to a bay where reef sharks can be found. The sun once again blessed us with a beautiful day, so we spent the rest of the afternoon at the beach. Around 4:30 pm, fishermen started filleting their catches, which was quite a spectacle to watch. You could even buy your dinner here. However, since we already had our BBQ planned, we had to miss out on the delicious fish fillets. In the evening, a one-man band entertained us in the bar, which was a welcome change from camping life.
