ที่ตีพิมพ์: 30.11.2017
good day from Australia!
After our shock at the cash register in the supermarket during our big shopping trip, we had to take a deep breath to get used to the Australian prices.. just crazy. Too bad there's no Aldi! Luckily, the sunset afterwards was free. 😉 But then we had to go to a bottleshop because there are no alcoholic beverages in the regular supermarket. Here, too, we had another rude awakening at the cash register. But it doesn't matter.. we're on
vacation, even though we're now half a fortune poorer. 😛
Speaking of rude awakenings: driving on the left side is easier said than done. "Keep left" is shouted loudly every time we turn. When we missed it twice, the oncoming vehicle immediately informed us with a flashing light that we should stay left. 🙃 ..Let's not mention Flo's frequent activation of the windshield wipers while turning here. Who puts the turn signal on the right side?! Just classic beginner mistakes.
Anyway.. back at the campsite, we unfortunately realized that we don't have enough space because Rainer doesn't really want to provide us with storage space for groceries, clothes, etc.
It's great that the campsites provide free grills and kitchens, which we used directly for our steaks.
The first night in Rainer was rather restless because the fridge was working quite loudly all night. The next day, we saw that Rainer even informs us in writing about a solution to the problem. Reading is always an advantage. ((-:
In this regard..
Cheers, mate! ..and see you soon!
