All beginnings are difficult ...

Although Iceland is a great island, it is not yet ready for campers in early April 🙈. Unfortunately, we had the experience that very few, if any, campsites are open during this time of year. After a long search, we found a campsite with a toilet and running hot water, at least yippee! We also found a sheltered spot where we could cook on our super gas stove (see picture). And we were already satisfied. 😊
