13th April
This Friday is a very sad day of our trip. We had to say goodbye to Susi!
At 10 am, we returned the keys and moved to a nice and small hostel with our stuffed backpacks, which consoled us a little bit about the loss of our home for the past two months.
To make ourselves feel better, we went shopping and unfortunately found more things that need to fit in the backpack.
In the evening, we went on a pub crawl through the city's bars. We bought tickets in the pedestrian zone and then traveled from bar to bar together with 150 other party-goers.

Fortunately, we could sleep in today. After a late breakfast, we spent most of the time in the hostel because the sun was too strong.
In the evening, we went to the night market. It is open on weekends from 5 pm to 11 pm and offers a lot of jewelry, art, and clothing, but there are also massages and even fortune tellers. 😀 We decided to go for the fish spa. For 20 minutes, little fish nibbled at the dead skin on our feet. Nothing has ever tickled me so much. 😂

Departure day!
Today is actually our last day in Australia. We used the morning and afternoon to take a stroll through the city, visit the art museum, cool off at the public pool, and enjoy ice cream by the sea, although the tide was out.
We left for the airport at 6 pm, but after we got our tickets, an alarm went off. We all had to leave the building and the fire department actually came. But everything was resolved in time and we had time to grab a bite to eat.
After a four and a half hour flight, we arrived in Denpasar. The hotel shuttle picked us up and took us to a small, but very nice hotel. In our room, we found two queen-size beds waiting for us and our luggage was carried upstairs. The start here couldn't be better, even though it is incredibly humid and hot, even at one in the morning.
Excited to see what the next few days will bring. :)
